Good value for my first order

I was looking to try Dermalogica without spending a fortune, so I waited for a good offer. I got the Daily Microfoliant and the Special Cleansing Gel. The 15% off first order discount really helped, and I got some free samples too. Shipping was free because my order was over $50, which was nice. It felt like I got a solid deal for professional-grade products. Definitely felt worth the purchase for the quality.

My skin feels pretty good

So I tried the Skin Smoothing Cream and the Precleanse, and honestly, my face feels a lot softer. I just needed some new stuff, and these seemed popular. The website was easy enough to navigate, and my order got here in about 5 days, which is pretty standard for me. No complaints, everything came as expected. I might try the Multivitamin Power Masque next time.

Obsessed with my new routine!

I'm so excited about my new Dermalogica products! I got the Biolumin-C Serum and the Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50, and my skin feels amazing. The serum made my complexion so much brighter, and the SPF doesn't feel heavy at all. I got a cool free gift set with my purchase, which was a pleasant surprise. I'll definitely be shopping here again for more! I've already told my sister about it.

Are their products actually cruelty-free? I've seen some conflicting info online.

B Beth Beaumont 1 month ago
From what I've seen, they are cruelty-free. They usually state it on their website and packaging.

I've always understood them to be cruelty-free, they don't test on animals. I specifically look for that in brands and haven't seen anything that suggests otherwise for Dermalogica.

Is the student discount legit? Like, how do you even apply for it?

P Phil 2 months ago
It's legit! I think you usually have to go through a verification service like UNiDAYS or something similar to prove you're a student.

Yeah, they do have one. You'll probably find a link on their site that sends you to a student ID verification portal. It's usually a percentage off.

Does Dermalogica ever do big sales? Like outside of Black Friday. I wanna try the BioLumin-C Serum but it's kinda pricey.

K Kate 1 month ago
They usually have an anniversary sale sometime in the spring or summer, and sometimes a Friends and Family event too. Keep an eye out for those!

Yeah, I've seen them do sales around Mother's Day and during the holiday season for gift sets. Sometimes they'll have a good free gift with purchase if you spend enough, which can be almost as good as a discount.

Are Dermalogica products really worth the hype and the higher price point compared to something like Paula's Choice?

M Mia 2 months ago
Totally depends on your skin. I've used both, and Dermalogica just works better for my sensitive skin. It feels more 'clinical' if that makes sense. But Paula's Choice is great too for a lot of people.

For me, yes. I had really stubborn breakouts and the Clearing Skin Wash and Retinol Acne Clearing Oil made a huge difference. I think it's more concentrated or something. Paula's Choice is good but I didn't get the same results.

What's the deal with returns? Can I send back an opened product if it breaks me out?

M Mia 2 months ago
Yep, you can return opened products. I did it once with a moisturizer that didn't agree with me. Just follow their instructions on the website.

Yeah, they're pretty good about it. I think you have 30 days or something from when you get it. Just make sure you keep the packaging.
